6. What level are these books?

We do not currently categorize books according to the CEFR levels (i.e. A1, A2, B1, B2). This is because by nature, most novels contain content that is accessible for all learners and content that is most accessible to advanced learners.

To bridge the gaps you may have, we’ve made sure that each page of our books include the original English text and the translated Arabic text side-by-side. Additionally, all Arabic words will include the vowels written in so you can be sure if the pronunciation. Furthermore, each book is accompanied by an audiobook, so that you can hear the story from the voices of native speakers. As long as you know how to read Arabic letters, our books will be accessible to you.

Lastly, we purposefully choose books that are engaging, easy to follow, and that you’re likely to already be familiar with. We want you to finish the book! Still it is normal if you find your purchase to be challenging. Because this is the first time that novels in Levantine are being made available, we assume that most Arabic students will find reading challenging. So be easy on yourself and know you’re already doing a great job!
